Students from Don Mills CI Win Awards from Flat classroom project videos!

By Jerry Chen

At the end of the 12-2 flat classroom project, students from all the participating schools were asked to submit their own videos with outsourced footage to be judged across a panel of judges. These short films, all with assigned topics that helped guide (but not so much as limit) the subject of the videos. Groups of each category won awards for top 3 videos and there was an overall best video award with several honourable mentions.

The judges based their votes on the a set of criteria among design/technical quality, as well as among the synthesis and construction of ideas for each video.
The final videos of course, is the end product of months’ work on the flat classroom project by the students.

In total, six of DMCI’s very own students made it to the list of winners of their category or to the overall honourable mentions. The winning students and the links to their videos are as follows:

Daniel Z with his video titled "Workflow Software's Positive Effect on the Environment"
